  • Activating a new account

Residential Account - It is possible to collect the containers for separate waste collection only after activating the Waste Tariff contract. To activate the contract, you can visit the tariff office in Borgo Giannotti on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08:30 am to 1 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5 pm, and on Wednesdays from 08:30 am to 1 pm, use the online portal at this link to submit the application electronically, make an appointment with the virtual helpdesk at this link or send the requested form via email to tariffarifiuti(at)sistemaambientelucca.it

Non-residential Account -  It is possible to request separate waste collection containers by downloading the form found in the documents section, only after activating the Waste Tariff contract. To activate the contract, you can visit the tariff office in Borgo Giannotti on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08:30 am to 1 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5 pm, and on Wednesdays 08:30 am to 1 pm, use the online portal at this link, or send the requested form via email to tariffarifiuti(at)sistemaambientelucca.it

As a consequence, the account holder will be contacted by an agent who will arrange for free home delivery of the containers.

  •  Termination of use

Residential Account with grey bins (25 L) -  Before closing the account, it is necessary for the account holder to return all separate waste collection containers in their possession to the Kit Distribution Office at Sistema Ambiente office on Via delle Tagliate III Trav. IV Borgo Giannotti (LU) on the days and times indicated above. The equipment return receipt issued must be presented at the TIA counter or sent via email together with the requested form 

Non-Residential Account with grey bins (25 L) - Before closing the account, it is necessary for the account holder to return all separate waste collection containers in their possession, along with a Transport Document, to Sistema Ambiente, Via delle Tagliate III Trav. IV, 136 Borgo Giannotti - Kit Distribution Office - on the days and times indicated above. The equipment return receipt issued must be presented at the TIA counter or sent via email together with the requested form

Residential and Non-residential Accounts with wheeled bins (120, 240 or 360 L capacity) - Before closing the account, it is necessary for the account holder to send an email to tariffarifiuti@sistemaambientelucca.it requesting the free collection service for the wheeled bin(s). At the time of collection, the operator will have the account holder sign an equipment return document that must be presented by the account holder at the Tariff Office At Sistema Ambiente office on Via delle Tagliate III Trav. IV Borgo Giannotti (LU) on the days and times indicated above. This equipment return document can be presented at the time of contract closure. To close the contract, you can visit the tariff office in Borgo Giannotti on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08:30 am to 1 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5 pm, and on Wednesdays from 08:30 am to 1 pm, or alternatively make an appointment with the virtual helpdesk at this link, or send the requested form via email to tariffarifiuti(at)sistemaambientelucca.it

Apartment buildings can choose, in agreement with the administrator, two methods of waste disposal: either through communal containers or through the display of individual bins. It is not possible to choose mixed disposal between wheeled bins and individual bins. This decision must be communicated to the company using the requested form
