THE SEPARATE COLLECTION SYSTEM IN THE SUBURBS
Separate collection in the City of Lucca’s suburbs is done by so-called “door-to-door” collection. The types of containers provided are:

Residential customers and all those commercial customers that produce waste comparable to that of residential customers (see the section with the respective categories), the following bins/bags are lent out for free:
| We provide mobile bins for different types of waste to those customers who specifically request them (see the designated section below for the request). The mobile bins will be provided subject to Sistema Ambiente technicians’ assessment. | They are placed at some blocks of flats by ad hoc request and subject to Sistema Ambiente technicians’ assessment. |

What to do for separate collection bins when becoming a new customer, selling buildings, renting, or in any other circumstance where the use of the premises changes
NAPPY/INCONTINENCE PAD COLLECTION ↓
Nappies and incontinence pads must be thrown out in the grey tub and any extra can be put out in bags or in one’s own bins next to the grey tub. You must put a simple label that reads "RSU Autorizzato” (In English: Authorised MSW) on these bins/bags. Pickup of nappies/incontinence pads is on the designated collection day for unsorted rubbish and on an additional day marked on the calendar with an *.
You must request additional pickup from Sistema Ambiente with this form.
The service lasts one year. To renew it, you must send a confirmation email by January 31st: without this communication, the service will be suspended.

GARDEN CUTTINGS COLLECTION AND CALENDAR ↓
Residential Customers
You can request mobile bins for garden cuttings collection by filling out this form.
Their distribution is at the Sistema Ambiente office on Via delle Tagliate III Trav. IV, 136 Borgo Giannotti - Kit Distribution Office - on these days and times:
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 am to 1 pm
- Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 am to 1 pm and from 2:30 to 5 pm

Collection of pet litter must be put out in the grey tub.
It gets picked up on the day for unsorted waste collection.
Customers can put out extra waste in bags or in their own bins next to the tub where a sign that says “Pet litter” must be placed.
