- Activating a new account
Residential Account - It is possible to collect the containers for separate waste collection only after activating the Waste Tariff contract. To activate the contract, you can visit the tariff office in Borgo Giannotti on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08:30 am to 1 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5 pm, and on Wednesdays from 08:30 am to 1 pm, use the online portal at this link to submit the application electronically, make an appointment with the virtual helpdesk at this link or send the requested form via email to tariffarifiuti(at)sistemaambientelucca.it

Non-residential Account - It is possible to request separate waste collection containers by downloading the form found in the documents section, only after activating the Waste Tariff contract. As a consequence, the account holder will be contacted by an agent who will arrange for free home delivery of the containers.
- Termination of use
Residential Account with small bins and/or wheeled containers for green and garden waste disposal and/or composters: Before closing the user's account, the taxpayer must return all the containers in his possession to the Kit Distribution Office (see days and times above).
Please note that pursuant to art. 36 paragraph 3 of the regulation for the application of the fee, failure to return the equipment received on loan for use will result in the application of a penalty of € 50.00.
Non-Residential Account
with bins: Before the user is allowed to close down, the taxpayer must return all the bins in his possession, together with a Transport Document, to the Kit Distribution Office (see days and times above). The equipment return receipt issued must be presented at the TIA desk (see days and times above) at the time of termination of use. Please note that pursuant to art. 36, paragraph 3 of the regulation for the application of the fee, failure to return the equipment received on loan for use entails the application of a penalty of € 50.00
With wheeled bins (120/240/360 litre capacity and/or metal bins) - It is necessary, before the utility can be closed down, for the taxpayer to send an email to tariffarifiuti(at)sistemaambientelucca.it requesting the free collection service for wheeled bins and/or metal bins. At the time of collection, together with a Transport Document, the operator will make the taxpayer sign a document for the return of the equipment, which must be presented at the TIA counter (see days and times) at the time of termination of use. Please note that pursuant to art. 36, paragraph 3 of the regulation for the application of the fee, failure to return the equipment received on loan for use entails the application of a penalty of € 50.00.
- Transferring an Account to another property in the suburbs of Lucca
The separate waste collection containers must be transferred from one property to another, and at the time of signing the new contract, the user signs for the transfer of the equipment.
- Transferring a Residential Account from the Historic Centre to the suburbs of Lucca
Users moving from a property located in the historic centre to a property in the suburbs of Lucca must collect the separate waste collection containers only after activating the Waste Tariff contract. - Transferring a Residential Account from the Suburbs to the Historic Centre of Lucca
Customers moving from a property located in the suburbs of Lucca to a property in the historic centre must return all separate waste collection containers in their possession to the Kit Distribution Office at Sistema Ambiente office on Via delle Tagliate III Trav. IV Borgo Giannotti (LU) on the days and times indicated above. The equipment return receipt issued must be presented at the TIA counter or sent via email together with the requested form
- Apartment Buildings
Apartment buildings can choose, in agreement with the administrator, two methods of waste disposal: either through communal containers or through the display of individual bins. It is not possible to choose mixed disposal between wheeled bins and individual bins. This decision must be communicated to the company using the requested form
